Biography Juice, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Switzerland. Born to a Swiss mother and a Togolese father, he showed interest in the world of art from a young age. There has always been a certain duality to Juice, even from a young age. By the time he was 14 he created his own street wear brand, where he would, design, sew, document and organize fashion shows during the day and at night he would hit the street as a graffiti artist. Rather quickly he turned away from spray-paint and blank walls and exchanged them for sheets of wood, canvas, paper or anything else he could get his hands on. The spray cans turned into brushes and buckets of paint and his art found a new home. While being in that transitional state, Juice also started to write, focusing on short stories at first, and later on trying his hand and finding footing in poetry. Now Juice is mostly known for his neoexpressionist paintings and his poetry, both attacking similar themes, of raw emotions, radical honesty, his strong political beliefs, revolution, loneliness, artists, art and the lack thereof. But he is a a consummate artist by any sense of the word, showing proficiency in a wide range of artistic practices, as demonstrated by Juice releasing "Never been better" in April 2023. "Never been better is a 50 min. short film written, directed and staring Juice, that he first screened in the spring of 2023 at one of his Art exhibitions. He followed that right up with "Talking to the Birds" a 45min poetry special. Showing once again his ever-expanding range in all things artistic. Juice is displaying an uncanny ability to express his thoughts and feelings as blunt and as honest as few others. He is an artist in every way, that's shares his perspective and feelings through, cultural commentary, political thought, introspection and radical honesty. His work is filled to the brim with wit, melancholia, self-deprecation, love, care and references about art, pop culture, political thought, media, literature, galore.
